Project Manager

A long-standing large structural concrete contractor is looking to add a Project Manager to their growing team. This firm offers construction services including general contracting, construction management, and design-build.

Responsibilities:

• Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
• Create and manage project schedules.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within or under budget.
• Process project change orders in a timely and efficient manner.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
• Coordinate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel when needed.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
• Identify and help resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
• Prepare and submit budget estimates.
• Conform with all safety rules and support the execution of best safety practices.
• Assist with estimating new projects as needed.

Skills:

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong background in commercial construction projects.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
• Strong understanding of project scheduling.

Education / Experience:

• Construction Project Manager experience required.
• Bachelor's degree and/or Associate's degree in Construction Management preferred, but not required.
• Design-Build experience preferred.
• Salary will be based on experience and qualifications.
