Construction Superintendent - Per Diem

Position: Construction Superintendent - Per Diem Offered
Trillium Construction is currently seeking an experienced Commercial Superintendent for a leading general contractor in Memphis, TN.

Our client specializes in high-quality commercial and industrial construction, including mixed-use developments, retail spaces, office buildings, churches, institutional facilities, and hospitality projects.

This role requires a seasoned construction professional with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to manage all aspects of on-site operations from project initiation through completion. The ideal candidate has at least 10 years of experience managing complex commercial construction projects and some industrial experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

-Oversee day-to-day field operations and on-site construction activities.
-Coordinate and manage subcontractors, materials, and equipment.
-Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
-Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and building codes.
-Develop and manage project schedules and monitor progress.
-Communicate regularly with project managers, clients, and stakeholders.
-Conduct site inspections and resolve issues to avoid delays.
-Manage site documentation including daily reports, inspections, and punch lists.

Compensation:
-Competitive pay based on experience, $100-110k/year.
-Per diem and lodging provided for traveling.
-Opportunity for long-term assignments with a reputable contractor.

Qualifications:

-Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
-Proven track record with mixed-use developments including residential and retail.
-Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and safety practices.
-Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
-OSHA certification preferred.
