Lead Childcare Teacher

Lead Preschool Teacher (Full-Time)

Cornerstone Learning Center - Southwind is a licensed childcare center seeking Lead Teachers for the Preschool classroom.

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m.

- 5:00 p.m.

Compensation: $13.50 - $15.00 per hour, based on education and experience.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass all background checks.
• One year of previous childcare experience preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead all aspects of the classroom in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center.
• Implement activities that encourage each child’s growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
• Take initiative, accept constructive criticism and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary for the betterment of the quality of the program.
• Create and maintain an environment that is clean and safe for all children.
• Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
• Physical ability to work around small children, including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
