Pricing Specialist

Overview

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cordova, TN. Fully onsite.

• Communicates information to customers and sales representatives.
• Maintains compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Negotiate and coordinate rates with carriers and truckers.
• Monitor group emails daily.
• Problem solving.
• Understand the market and conditions.
• Issuing quotes and following up.
• Cost analysis.
• Must have a commercial/sales approach to all situations.
• Focus will be on pricing/quoting with some time spent in operations.

• Cost analysis, quoting, negotiating rates, pricing, sales approach, analysis, finance, pricing analysis, Microsoft Excel, Excel data entry, data analysis.
• Can-do attitude with a will-do work ethic. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Transportation industry knowledge and experience.
• Ability to think critically, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively.
• Ability to monitor personal and shared email inbox with team.
• Preferred experience in logistics space (trucking, logistics analyst/coordinator, freight forwarder, customer broker, carrier).

Intermediate Level

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cordova, TN.

The pay range for this position is $31.25/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Cordova, TN.
