This onsite role is located in our distribution center in Memphis, TN and reports to the Outbound Supervisor.

Principal

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain quality assurance standards, procedures, and control.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the process.
  • Assist the Supervisor with the daily morning huddle.
  • Assist in reporting the KPI metrics to ensure accurate data is turned in (daily headcount, picker lines quantity, picker unit quantity, daily audit numbers).
  • Submit internal findings to management and other departments.
  • Ensure effective internal and external communication.
  • Able to train new hires in processes.
  • Able to write an SOP (Standard Operating Procedures).
  • Demonstrate sense of urgency by responding to all requests in a timely manner.
  • Able to verify unidentified products.
  • Able to direct employees to daily work assignments.
  • Able to follow verbal instructions given by supervisor.
  • Responsible for maintaining and overseeing 5S standards and safety regulations.
  • Keep up with the Mis-Pick report daily (information of who, what, when, why, and how).
  • Hands‑on engagement with the team including picking, packing, shipping.
  • Problem solving, nurture team in correcting issues and guiding team in the correct direction.
  • Ensure Promise dates are hit daily for both Parcel and LTL shipments.
  • Ensure pickers are meeting their hourly pick goals.
  • Learn all procedures for both LTL and Parcel clerks.
  • Ensure pack stations and console lanes are worked by promise date.

Skills:

Microsoft Office and Excel

Highly organized with ability to prioritize and re‑prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment; high attention to detail to maintain high accuracy on various parameters and reports; ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

(Bilingual Spanish/English skills preferred). Able to communicate well and have basic computer knowledge.

Pay: $22.00 per hour
