Job DefinitionResponsible for all aspects of item and vendor setup. Responsible for the issuance and accuracy of all Purchase Orders.
Responsible for tracking Purchase Orders from production until warehouse receiving. Ability to work in a fluid and fast-paced environment.
- Responsibleforasetnumberofitemsfornewitemsetup.
Thisincludesmaintainingaccurateproductinformationsuchascost,pricing,dutyrate(HSCodes),measurements,etcthroughathoroughreviewofthequotes. - Responsible for maintaining vendor files , which includes contact information, payment terms, etc.
- Responsibleforissuing
PO’stovendorswithdataprovidedbythedemandplanningteam. - Responsibleforregular
POfollow-upandupdatingofexpecteddeliverydates.
Workingcloselywithvendorstoensurethetimelydeliveryofgoodsisimperative. - Workcloselywiththeplanningteamtoaddress
POpriceandquantitydiscrepancies. - Workwithagentsandcustomsbrokerstoensuresmoothinboundofcontainersandtrucksbyaddressinganycontainer,invoicing,customsclearancequestionsrelatedto
HSCodes,compliancedocumentation(ex.
TCSA,LACEY,FDA,Fish&Wildlife,etc.). - Ensure timely creation of containers into ERP and creation of vendor payables/vouching.
- Addressandreconcileshortagesandoverages,filevendorchargebacks,andcommunicateanyadvancepayments.
- Participateinnewitemqualitycontroltoensurenewitemsareboxedandlabeledcorrectly.
- Interact with a variety of cross-functional teams , including Sales, Product Development, Catalog, Planning, Receiving, and Accounts Payables.
- Bachelor’sdegreein
Business Supply Chain ,Purchasing,Logisticsorotherrelatedfield - 3-5 years of experience in Purchasing and/or Logistics
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
