Job DescriptionThe Outside Coordinator is responsible for managing the intake, inspection, coordination, and movement of fleet/lease vehicles for auction preparation. You will work closely with inside sales, fleet/lease, lot and shop staff to ensure that incoming vehicles meet condition standards and are processed efficiently for sale. The role requires strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of vehicle logistics, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, outdoor auction environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist fleet/lease in preparing vehicles for auction sale.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle locations and condition reports, verifying information such as mileage and keys.
- Schedule and monitor services (e.g., reconditioning, body work, mechanical repairs, detailing) as needed.
- Track vehicle inventory across auction lot or staging areas and ensure timely processing for upcoming sales.
- Monitor vehicle readiness and prioritize work to meet auction deadlines.
- Maintain high standards for vehicle presentation and compliance with auction and client requirements.
- Support auction day logistics including vehicle line‑up, lot coordination, and customer service when needed.
- Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous automotive experience strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of vehicle condition reports, titles, and auction processes strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently in a physically demanding, outdoor environment.
- Good basic computer skills.
- Standing, walking, and lifting (up to 50 lbs.) regularly.
