Job DescriptionThe Administrative Assistant will provide essential support for invoice processing in stand‑alone shipping centers. This role involves handling invoices submitted by vendors, ensuring the accuracy of paper and digital records, and forwarding them for payment processing. Additionally, the role includes performing various general administrative duties.
Responsibilities- Receive and verify vendor invoices, ensuring paper and digital copies match.
- Submit verified invoices for payment processing.
- Perform general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, answering phones, and faxing.
- Maintain effective communication skills for interaction with vendors and team members.
- Proficient in administrative support and invoice processing.
- Skilled in data entry and knowledgeable in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience in accounts payable processes.
- Ability to type accurately at 45 words per minute.
Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma required.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in general accounting, invoice processing, or billing.
The role is based in an office setting, with the majority of the work conducted at a desk. The position requires working with standard office equipment and technologies.
Job Type & LocationContract position based out of Memphis, TN.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.36 – $23.36/hr.
