The Long Products Division, Marshall Steel, has an immediate opening for a Data Entry Clerk.
The Data Entry Clerk is directly responsible for entering data into Marshall Steel's various databases and systems. By using current technology, they will maintain and update existing data while verifying the accuracy of the data. The Data Entry Clerk will organize and maintain digital and paper files to assist the inventory and office management department with daily, weekly, and monthly duties.
Responsibilities- Process data such as inventory changes for new and existing product details into various databases.
- Compile, sort, and verify the accuracy of data before, during, and after it s entered.
- Perform standard clerical work to ensure proper operation within a busy office environment.
- Compile data using a computer to process information for supervisors.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Proficient use of computer systems and software such as Microsoft Office, Word, and Outlook.
- Prior experience using Windows-based products in a business environment.
- Possess prior knowledge and experience with administrative, clerical, and other office procedures.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail in all aspects of a task.
- Ability to listen intently and follow directions within a business environment.
- Must speak English
