Serves as the point of contact for a specific area of expertise. Provides knowledge and experience of subject matters. Assists with ensuring day to day operations, policies, procedures, and guidelines are followed in particular areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develops space utilization plan each academic year and summer terms for the Memphis and Lambuth Campus.
  • Manages, reviews, and oversees all housing applications, contracts, and assignments, including regular student housing, graduate and student family housing, emergency/temporary housing. (25%)
  • Collaborates on development and maintenance of Star Rez Housing portal, including the application process, contract management and information provided via email, website, mail, print. Oversees the self-selection room selection process as well housing exemptions. (15%)
  • Advises and consults with university departments and groups regarding special housing needs and requests such as Living Learning Communities, International Programs, Student Disabilities and Athletics. Develops RFP and reviews submitted paperwork as needed. (15%)
  • Coordinates relevant Marketing & Communications with the Marketing & Outreach coordinator. (10%)
  • Regularly creates and reviews reports to understand housing trends, occupancy and to anticipate future developments. Prepares occupancy management data to include relevant data analysis such those not enrolled, room changes and occupancy/application reports. (10%)
  • Coordinates relevant marketing and communications messaging with the departmental marketing staff to ensure consistent messaging and university branding. (5%)
  • Provides oversight for the Housing Specialist and Front Office Coordinator. (5%)
  • Serves on departmental committees and performs other duties as assigned. (5%)
QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience in a higher education setting. Experience may substitute for required education. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
