Senior Accountant / Bookkeeper (Memphis or Counce, TN)

Full-Time | 35+ Years in Business |Multi-Location Marine Dealership Group | $40 Million Annual Revenue

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant / Bookkeeper to join our privately-owned group of three marine sales and service stores.

This position can be based in either Memphis, TN or Counce, TN.

Our organization employs approximately 55 team members and generates around $40 million in annual revenue. We are looking for a hands‑on accounting professional who enjoys doing the work—not just overseeing others. The ideal candidate will have solid experience managing accounting operations for a multi‑entity dealership, and the ability to produce accurate, consolidated financial reporting.

• Perform full-cycle accounting across multiple dealership locations, consolidating into corporate-level reports
• Manage cash flow, bank reconciliations, and floor plan accounting
• Oversee payroll, commissions, HR administration, employee benefits, and insurance programs
• Prepare and file sales tax and quarterly state tax reports
• Generate accurate internal financial reports and maintain reconciliations
• Support audits, inventory reconciliations, and financial reviews
• Manage manufacturer rebates, holdbacks, and warranty receivables
• Handle accounts payable and general ledger maintenance for all stores

• Preferred: CPA (or equivalent experience)
• Marine, RV, or automotive dealership accounting a plus
• Proven ability to handle multi-entity, $40M+ financial operations
• Experience with floor plans, warranty programs, and tax reporting
• Strong working knowledge of HR, payroll, benefits, and insurance administration
• Lightspeed (or similar DMS) experience a plus
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and discretion
