- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and management by carrying out Allied Universal procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access control concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions, unauthorized persons, and/or security‑related hazards; communicate observations to site contacts and follow post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including responding to alarms, assisting with evacuations, and coordinating with first responders as directed.
- Complete detailed reports on patrols, incidents, and daily activities; use site systems and/or logs to document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
