Responsibilities
  • Prospect and contact potential clients to discuss their financial needs and concerns.
  • Offer high‑quality life insurance, fixed annuities, long‑term care insurance, securities, investments, and other products for insurance and retirement, education, and business planning needs.
  • Spotlight a multitude of potential solutions within our competitive suite of products and services while assisting clients in reaching their financial goals.
  • Improve your professional skills and knowledge through the New York Life training curriculum.
  • Increase your client base by creating and implementing strategic business and marketing plans.
  • Understand the needs and financial concerns of clients.
  • Educate clients on how to plan ahead for the future financially, so that they are prepared for unfortunate life events or circumstances they may encounter.
  • Promote customized ways for clients to achieve their long‑term financial goals.
  • Cultivate relationships with a view to helping every family member or individual pursue financial security.
  • Build an insurance and financial practice by establishing professional networks and prospecting for new clients.
  • Provide compassion and guidance to clients when unfortunate life circumstances arise.
  • Maintain a clear focus on developing and maintaining long‑term bonds with clients, resulting in trust and continuity of the community over time.
Qualifications
  • Ability to engage your community and leverage personal networks and contacts.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required to effectively share complex ideas.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Growth mindset and sales experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong values of integrity are a must.
  • Sales experience preferred – an enterprising mindset.

Compensation

$60,000 – $100,000 per year
