Hybrid | Contract (6 Months) | Mid–Senior Level | Pay Rate: $77 per hour |
Location:
Melville, NY (Hybrid – Onsite Required)
- 35 hours per week (7 hours per day)
- Overtime may be required based on business needs
- Travel is required for corporate events
- Candidate must be able to drive to events and offsite locations
- Hybrid schedule with onsite presence required multiple days per week
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Planning & Communications Consultant to support and expand brand visibility through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), public relations, and social media initiatives. This contract role blends strategic storytelling, executive-level communications, and hands-on program execution to elevate CSR efforts while aligning with broader business and brand objectives.
The ideal candidate brings a strong writing background, a proactive and sales-oriented mindset, and proven experience managing events, campaigns, and stakeholder engagement in a corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities- Drive awareness of CSR initiatives through integrated PR and social media strategies aligned with brand and business objectives
- Develop, edit, proofread, and refine executive-ready communications for internal and external audiences
- Proactively own and execute communications and CSR-related initiatives with a self-starter approach and strong attention to detail
- Coordinate and support conferences, trade shows, press interviews, media-driven events, and CSR-focused programs
- Conduct showroom tours and support showroom programming to expand internal and external engagement
- Research, evaluate, and vet charitable organizations to ensure alignment with CSR strategy and brand values
- Prepare agendas, briefing materials, and research to support leadership with insights derived from media coverage and press analytics
- Support the development and execution of social media and PR campaigns to amplify CSR storytelling
- Coordinate with cross-functional partners to maintain a corporate calendar aligned with CSR initiatives and public-facing activities
- Ensure consistent, high-quality execution of brand and CSR campaigns across channels
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 7+ years of experience in CSR, public relations, brand communications, and social media strategy execution
- Proven executive-level writing, copyediting, and proofreading skills
- Hands-on experience coordinating corporate events, trade shows, press events, and programs
- Strong ability to align CSR storytelling with measurable business and brand impact
- Sales-oriented, proactive mindset with the ability to independently drive initiatives
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
