We are seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to join our Estate Administration & Estate Planning department.

Cona Elder Law a cutting edge, dynamic Elder Law and Trusts & Estates firm seeks a highly motivated paralegal with 3+ years’ experience.

Staff members “own” their positions at Cona Elder Law and are 100% responsible for their own work and caseloads. You will have extensive client contact and opportunities to represent the firm outside of the office. You will have autonomy and independence while being part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies preferred.
  • Legal experience in estate planning, probate, or trusts required.
  • Proficiency in legal software, document management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Strong understanding of estate planning procedures required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Draft and finalize estate planning documents such as wills, trusts and advance directives.
  • Communicate with clients to gather information, review the legal processes, and provide updates as necessary.
  • Organize and maintain client files, correspondence, and records.
  • Coordinate the signing and notarization of documents and communicate with financial institutions and courts.
  • Help with the administrative tasks necessary to fund trusts, such as transferring assets and preparing necessary documentation.
  • Estate Administration and Estate Litigation experience is a plus.
  • Good communication skills and experience with client contact.
  • All other duties as assigned.
