The Litigation Case Staffing Manager is responsible for the allocation and staffing of legal matters within Jackson Lewis. This position will support all aspects of matter staffing for multiple offices in the NY Metro area.
Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of matter staffing, understanding each case's unique needs as well as a deep understanding of individual attorney knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Use firm resources and technology.
- Ensure attorneys caseloads stay on track to meet billable requirements.
- Handle transitions of matters during attorney departures, leaves of absence, and integration of new hires.
- Maintain a client-focused approach to strengthen relationships within local offices.
- Bachelor s degree required; JD preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a litigation law firm in NY; employment law preferred.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Attention to detail and multitasking in a fast-paced setting.
- Advanced organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proven ability to interface effectively with employees at all levels within the firm.
- Proficiency in technology use and assessment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in team environments.
For the New York Metro area, the expected salary range is between $125,000 and $160,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
