Position OverviewWe are seeking talented and driven Lateral Associates with 3-6 years of litigation experience to join our growing practice in our Melville, NY office. In this role, you will work on high profile complex securities litigation and shareholder rights matters, collaborating with teams of experienced attorneys to prosecute cases involving violations of federal securities laws.
Associates at Robbins Geller are expected to take on meaningful responsibilities early in their careers, including:
- Drafting and arguing motions in federal court
- Conducting document and deposition discovery
- Managing client communications
- Coordinating litigation strategy with colleagues
The ideal candidate will have:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic performance
- Exceptional legal writing skills (Law Review and/or federal court clerkship preferred)
- Prior litigation experience in complex and/or class action cases
- Demonstrated interest in securities fraud litigation and investor protection
- Admission to practice law in the jurisdiction of application (or ability to become admitted promptly)
- Must be able to be on site in the Melville office daily; no Hybrid schedule available
- Salary Range: $205,000 - $235,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications)
- Work alongside some of the most highly regarded securities litigators in the country
- Take on substantive case responsibilities from the outset
