Futterman Lanza, LLP is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Estate Planning Attorney to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Melville, NY. The role involves providing legal counsel and representation for clients in matters related to estate planning, probate, estate administration, and succession planning. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and reviewing legal documents such as wills and trusts, guiding clients through the probate and estate administration process, and developing customized solutions to meet their individual needs.
The attorney will also collaborate closely with clients to ensure the legal protection of their assets and the realization of their legacy goals.
- Proficiency in Estate Planning and Succession Planning
- Strong knowledge of Estate Law, Probate, and Estate Administration
- Ability to draft and review legal documents, such as wills and trusts, with accuracy
- Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters
- Active bar membership in New York State is required
- Previous experience in estate planning or related practice areas is highly advantageous
