Attorney Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice

Overview

A well-established personal injury and medical malpractice law firm with offices in Melville and NYC is seeking an experienced and driven litigation attorney to join its Melville office. This is a strategic role focused on managing complex cases and maximizing client outcomes. The position comes with a strong support team, including dedicated paralegals and legal assistants.

• 5+ years of litigation experience in personal injury and/or medical malpractice
• Admitted to practice in New York
• Strong oral advocacy, legal writing, and analytical skills
• Proven ability to independently manage a full caseload
• Excellent client communication and negotiation skills
• Must be able to commute to Melville

• Handle personal injury and medical malpractice matters from intake through resolution
• Conduct discovery, depositions, motion practice, and prepare for trial
• Participate in court appearances, mediations, and client meetings
• Prepare detailed case evaluations and progress reports
• Work collaboratively with a senior attorney to deliver optimal outcomes for clients
