Title: AI Adoption Intern
Department: IT
Location: Remote
Level: S1
Range: $25.00 - $27.00 / hour
Purpose: As our AI Adoption Intern, you’ll work within Comtech’s IT Department, gaining professional experience working with multiple teams and technologies. You’ll have the unique opportunity to learn about technologies that support a global enterprise, and you may assist with the following duties:
Responsibilities- Identify and document AI use cases by facilitating scenario workshops with business stakeholders; translate workflows into actionable AI opportunities.
- Develop playbooks and enablement materials for Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio, including best practices and guardrails.
- Assist with governance and data readiness by reviewing content locations, permissions, and sensitivity labels to ensure secure AI deployment.
- Support responsible AI practices by applying transparency, bias checks, security, and human‑in‑the‑loop review to pilot projects.
- Assist in the creation of lightweight automation solutions using Power Platform to operationalize approved AI scenarios.
- Measure adoption impact by defining KPIs, tracking usage, and maintaining a simple dashboard to report time savings and productivity gains.
- Identify opportunities to collaborate across teams (IT, business units, and leadership) to drive change management and communicate AI benefits effectively.
- Produce training and communication assets such as one‑pagers, prompt libraries, and short videos; host lunch‑and‑learn sessions via Comtech University.
- Manage tasks independently and prioritize multiple pilots while providing timely status updates to managers and stakeholders.
- Computer skills with strong emphasis on AI and technical aptitude, including strong data‑gathering skills, expertise, interpretation, and reporting.
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and written.
- Commitment to full‑time availability (40 hours a week).
- Currently enrolled in IT or other relevant degree program.
The pay range reflects the expected base salary for this position. Final compensation will be based on role, level, skills, experience, and geographic location.
