Duties Description
• Provide remote technical support via the Service Desk for NYSIF staff and external customers.

* Address service requests and provide assistance to end users as it relates to NYSIF personal computing, both hardware and software.

* Image computers.

* Provide new employee onboarding support.

* Configure mobile devices.

* Support all ITS Teams with hardware deployments, installations and system maintenance.

* Create and maintain user and instructional documentation.

* Assist with the ITS hardware asset hardware inventory, including the maintenance of hardware inventory system data, participation in the annual Physical Inventory and hardware disposals.

* Demonstrated ability to engage in good customer service skills when working with end users is required.

Minimum Qualifications
• Be actively enrolled in a New York State college, university, or graduate program, or be a resident of New York State, attending a college, university or graduate program outside of New York State.

* Have completed a minimum of one (1) year as a student at a degree-granting two or four year college or university (completion of one year's worth of academic credits over a longer period may qualify part-time students for participation in the program) or be a currently enrolled graduate student or accepted in a graduate degree program.

* Have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0, or the letter grade equivalent.

* Must be able to work at least part-time summer (10-15 hours per week, with the opportunity to work fall and spring depending on availability); full-time summer hours preferred.

* Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.

Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Data Science, Project Management, or Business Analyst
