, you’ll lead a dedicated team of manufacturing associates, ensuring that each operation is performed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This is more than just production — it’s about precision, compliance, and the knowledge that your work impacts patients worldwide.

Responsibilities

What you ll do

You ll perform general and moderately technical microbiological duties, including testing in-process samples, raw materials, finished products, and stability samples. Your responsibilities also include extensive environmental monitoring (EM) and meticulous documentation.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Microbiological Testing:
    Execute techniques for in-process samples and raw materials, including Microbial Support Testing (NAT, Growth Promotion), EM Water Testing, and Microbial Testing for Bioburden and LAL.
  • Environmental Monitoring (EM):
    Conduct EM for facilities, utilities (Pharm Air, Nitrogen), and laboratories. This includes viable air, contact plates, passive air, and total particulate counts.
  • Laboratory Support:
    Assist with essential lab management tasks such as housekeeping, equipment calibration, safety inspections, and shipping samples.
  • Documentation:
    Maintain accurate records by reviewing logbooks, initiating lab investigations and deviations, and entering data for trending. You will also review SOPs and ensure all training is up to date.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or Biological Sciences.
  • Previous experience with microbiological and environmental monitoring techniques is preferred.
  • Prior experience with aseptic techniques is preferred.
  • Experience in a Quality Control or cGMP environment is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
