Unique, exciting opportunity to join a thriving, growing private practice with two existing locations in lower Manhattan and Long Island-Melville. We are looking for a Full-Time or Part-Time, dedicated, compassionate, self-starting Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to work in the Manhattan office, practicing alongside an eminent leader in the use of ketamine infusions for the treatment of depression and complex regional pain syndrome.
The PA or NP will work directly with patients during infusion treatments, consulting, beginning the infusion process, monitoring patient progress, and responding to patient needs. Successful candidate must be compassionate and caring, skilled at delivering IV treatments, and able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
- IV placement and administration
- Consultation with patients and families
- Attending to patients suffering from treatment resistant depression or chronic regional pain syndrome.
- Monitoring patients during infusion and recovery
- Respond to emergency situations rapidly and confidently, as needed
- Maintain medical records
- 5+ years clinical experience with IV placement/medication delivery
- 5+ years as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- ICU or ER experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently and under direct doctor supervision
- Current BLS/ACLS and CPR certifications
- Degree from accredited programs
- Current NY State licenses and certifications as a Physician Assistant or Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner
