, an entry-level pathway to becoming a licensed Mortgage Loan Officer.

Job Summary

As a Mortgage Banking Associate
, you will gain hands-on experience in the mortgage industry while training to become a Mortgage Loan Officer. You will work closely with borrowers, follow up on leads, and utilize our CRM to manage client interactions. All leads provided are inbound, giving you a great opportunity to connect with interested borrowers. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to build a career in mortgage lending, develop strong sales skills, and provide outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist borrowers throughout the mortgage process by gathering documentation, answering questions, and providing guidance.
  • Follow up on inbound leads from various sources, including inbound inquiries and marketing campaigns.
  • Utilize the company’s CRM to track client interactions, update records, and maintain an organized sales pipeline.
  • Educate potential borrowers on loan products, qualification requirements, and the application process.
  • Work closely with senior Mortgage Loan Officers to learn best practices and industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with processing and underwriting teams to ensure timely loan approvals.
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and company policies and guidelines.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to prepare for the Mortgage Loan Officer role.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; relevant experience in sales, finance, or customer service is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in technology and ability to work in a high pace environment.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn the mortgage industry.
  • Must be willing to obtain required licensing to transition into a Mortgage Loan Officer role.
