Family Office Accounting Manager

Overview

An investment advisory firm is looking for a Family Office Accounting Manager to join their team in Melville, NY.

Compensation: 125-160k

• Manage and execute all accounting functions necessary to report on the financial position of select ultra-high net-worth clients
• Liaise and develop strong working relationships with internal service team members
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the firm's highest profile clientele
• Review and manage cashflow planning for high net-worth clients including budgeting and forecasting
• Review and provide timely and accurate financial reports and analyses
• Oversee and manage all aspects of asset movement within the department
• Conduct regular reconciliations and reviews of banking platform access and activities,  activities and Quickbooks reconciliations for compliance
• Perform ad‐hoc financial analyses and execute projects as required
• Implement and oversee client household payroll
• Supervision, mentorship and development of junior staff

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance or relevant Master's
• 7+ years of related experience
• Expert in Quick Books accounting and  accounts payable software
• Knowledge and expertise in Microsoft Office products
• Excellent attention to detail with high accuracy, excellent organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
