Mechanical Engineer

Job Location:
Melville, NY (100% onsite)

Salary: $100,000-$130,000/yr DOE

• Designs, fabricates, modifies and evaluates mechanical and/or electronic apparatus.
• Analyzes equipment to establish operating data and conducts experimental tests.
• Evaluates and maintains records and writes reports of the results of his work.
• Generates engineering documentation and test procedures.
• Liaison with Designers, Technicians and Purchasing Department for evaluation of products/parts, debugging phases and transition from prototype to first artwork.
• Performs other similar related tasks as assigned.
• Maintains a positive work environment by professional and courteous conduct and communications with others, including supervisors, co-workers, clients, and vendors.

• Bachelor’s degree Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years prior experience or Associate's degree and a minimum of 8 years prior experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience writing technical specifications and other technical documents is a plus.
• Microsoft Office proficiency
