Job Summary

• Assist the Department Manager in the preparation, review, and financial reporting of monthly, quarterly, and supplementary information issued to the corporate office and Senior Management. Prepare journal entries and accruals during the month-end close process to include a reconciliation of the inter-company activity.
• Analyze G/L transactions for accuracy to ensure all phases of the general ledger and financial statements are accurately presented. Assist with the preparation of the detailed monthly variance analysis compared to actual.
• Assist with the preparation of the inventory reserve calculation as well as inventory management reporting. Prepare schedules on request for periodic internal audits and assist with other ad hoc reporting as required.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Accounting.
• A minimum of 5 years of related accounting work experience, including prior analytical work in an accounting environment.
• Experience in a manufacturing/cost accounting environment is a strong plus.
• Must have intermediate/advanced Excel skill set.
• Experience with Hyperion Financial Management and Oracle E-Business is a strong plus. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are a must. Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently.
