Good Spirit School Division provides educational services to Hutterite colonies within its boundaries. The Division recognizes there are Hutterite Brethren practices regarding the education of their children and strives to work with the individual Hutterite Colony to ensure that protocols, values and traditions are supported. EAs are valuable members of a team which collaborates to promote student learning, well-being and success.

• This position is a temporary part-time position of 3.0 hours/day in accordance with the Educational Assistant school calendar.
• The position commences immediately and expires June 26, 2026 with the work schedule to be determined later on. This is determined by the principal and student services. Rest periods will be scheduled in accordance with the current collective bargaining agreement.

• Work closely with students to meet their diverse learning goals.
• Provide assistance to students with mobility needs and/or who require personal care.
• Assist the classroom teacher to support learning with all students in the classroom.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all information pertaining to a child, classroom and the school.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the principal or designate and those listed in Job Description - Educational Assistant.

• Minimum Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent.
• Acute attention to detail, adaptability, flexibility and the ability to work as a team member will be considered assets.
• Experience in supporting K-3 and multi-grade classrooms is an asset.
• Experience in supporting EAL students is an asset.

• The successful candidate will be paid on a monthly basis at an hourly rate from $20.39 - $25.04 plus applicable vacation pay.
