Job Overview:

As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks within the warehouse, ensuring the smooth flow of goods through the operation.

Your role will include picking, packing, unloading, and maintaining the overall organization of the warehouse. The position requires a proactive attitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle physically demanding tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Unloading Containers:
Manually unloading goods from containers in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring products are not damaged during the process.

• Order Picking:
Using RF scanners or pick lists to accurately pick orders for dispatch. Ensuring all orders are correctly fulfilled with the right items, quantities, and packaging.

• Labelling:
Properly labelling items with accurate information for ease of identification and traceability.

• Packing:
Ensuring all items are securely packed, so no damage occurs during transit.

• Warehouse Organisation:
Maintaining a clean, tidy, and organised warehouse environment. Regularly checking and organizing stock to ensure efficient workflow.

• Stock Control:
Assisting with stock rotation and helping to keep track of inventory levels.

• Health & Safety Compliance:
Adhering to all company policies and health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment at all times.

What We Are Looking For :

• Previous

Experience:

You must have previous experience working as a Warehouse Operative or in a similar role.

• Physical Fitness:
This role can be physically demanding at times, so applicants should be in good physical condition and able to lift and move heavy items.

• Attention to Detail:
Accuracy is critical to ensure orders are picked correctly and goods are handled appropriately.

• Self-Motivated:
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, works well independently, and can contribute to the overall success of the team.

• Own Transport:
Due to the company’s location, a car is essential to get to and from the workplace.

• Flexibility:
The role may involve occasional overtime depending on the needs of the business.
