Position Overview

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, and any projects assigned. This position has emphasis on overseeing: safety, quality control, shipping / receiving of all orders, inventory control, equipment order reporting and other warehouse related logistics. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance on all warehouse policies, maintaining daily workspace standards, and successful completion of all daily tasks.

Maintains high throughput by adherence to warehouse standards and ensures orders are completed in a timely manner. This position will supervise the outbound/inbound functions, supports team member development and adequate staffing levels related to business needs. The Warehouse Manager will report to the Warehouse Director or General Manager, UAE as appropriate.

  • Provide training and development opportunities for team members and ensure a safe work environment consistent with company values.
  • Do the Right Thing by ensuring all safety practices and policies are being followed
  • Line manage your direct reports within the Warehouse Operation, conducting the annual ITM process, process annual leave requests, ensure regular team meetings etc
  • Partner with the Warehouse Director and HR to analyse team member engagement survey data; develop action plans to address the priority issues and ensure action plans are deployed and producing positive change
  • Partner with HR to manage HR activity including selection, performance management, salary administration, training and development and strategic human resources planning
Warehouse & Asset Management
  • Drive Results by leading the warehouse team to ensure daily tasks are completed on time and in accordance to the dock loading/unloading schedule.
  • Oversee and direct all aspects of the daily warehouse operations of the business, including warehouse, logistics, facilities, and resources.
  • Standardise various warehouse procedures – layout, storage, overall working practices; identify requirements for improvement, and plan and execute development plans.
  • In coordination with the Equipment Manager, where appropriate, oversee and direct management of operational assets and facilities, ensuring regular, timely and cost-effective maintenance are done.
  • Coordinate the assembling and checking-off of all daily kit requests and production jobs
  • Ensure the relevant paperwork i.e. delivery & collection notes, kit requests etc are processed accordingly
  • Monitor inventory levels to maximise availability and utilisation for high demand products
