Laundry Attendant

Our small, friendly laundry department is at the heart of this, ensuring that our guests are surrounded by fresh towels, clean robes, and crisp, perfectly prepared linen at all times.

We are now looking for a passionate Laundry Attendant to join our team and help deliver these essential spa and hotel comforts to our guests!

• Ensure all robes are prepared and ready for day guests, use as well as new arrivals.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation by ensuring all table linen is washed, ironed, and ready for the dining room.
• Monitor and manage chemical bottles, ensuring they are replaced or refilled as required, while maintaining safety and efficiency.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the various washer and dryer programmes, ensuring each load is washed and dried to perfection.
• Develop a working knowledge of all chemicals used in the department, ensuring proper handling and use.
• Gain a basic understanding of Health Safety and COSHH regulations, including the safe storage and use of each chemical.
• Prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure, using initiative to ensure that laundry operations run smoothly and efficiently.

• Ability to work within our friendly housekeeping team is essential.
• Proactive approach and willingness to learn.
• Passionate about delivering excellent service.
• Full Training will be provided for this position.

• 18 hours per week
• 12 month maternity cover
• 5.30pm until 10pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.

• Age 16-17 £ 8.45
• Age 18-20 £ 10.05
• Age 21+ £12.26
