We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the successful delivery of LEV projects from order through to completion. The role involves managing contracts, coordinating internal teams and subcontractors, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with relevant standards and legislation.

This is a key position within the business, offering autonomy, responsibility, and the opportunity to play a vital role in the continued growth of Flextraction Ltd.

• Manage multiple LEV contracts simultaneously from award to final handover
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee installation, modification, and maintenance projects
• Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the contract life cycle
• Liaise with engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
• Ensure all works comply with COSHH, HSG
  258, and relevant health & safety legislation
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and variations to ensure profitability
• Prepare and review risk assessments, method statements, and project documentation
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety standards
• Resolve technical, commercial, and operational issues as they arise
• Support continuous improvement in processes and customer satisfaction

• Proven experience in a Contracts Manager or similar role
• Strong background in Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV), dust extraction, or related engineering sectors
• Good working knowledge of COSHH, HSG
  258, and UK health & safety regulations
• Excellent organisational and project management skills
• Strong commercial awareness and budget management experience
• Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
• Full UK driving licence
• Technical qualifications in engineering and ventilation-related disciplines
• Experience working with industrial and manufacturing clients
• Familiarity with 3d CAD drawings and technical specifications
• Knowledge of DSEAR and CDM an advantage.
