Hospitalist Advanced Practice Clinician in Melrose, MA - BR

This swing‑shift role supports patient admissions, acute clinical needs, cross‑coverage, and care coordination between day and night teams. The advance practice clinician ensures safe, timely, and patient‑centered care while adhering to hospital policies and clinical best practices.

• Perform comprehensive history and physical examinations for new admissions and existing inpatients
• Manage acute and chronic medical conditions in coordination with the supervising hospitalist
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, ECGs, etc.) based on scope of practice
• Develop and implement evidence‑based treatment plans
• Provide cross‑coverage for inpatient units, addressing changes in patient status, medication adjustments, and care coordination
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)

• Master’s degree from an accredited NP or PA program
• Current state licensure as NP or PA
• National certification (ACNP, FNP, AGACNP, PA‑C, etc., depending on organization requirements)
• Active DEA license (or eligibility)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
  
  Preferred: 1–2 years of experience in inpatient medicine, emergency medicine, or critical care.
• New graduates with strong clinical rotations may be considered depending on hospital needs.

Competitive Compensation, with an estimated base salary range of $75 to $90 hourly with the opportunity to earn incentives.
