Meat Clerk – Kroger Mountain View Foods

Join our team in the Meat department at Kroger Mountain View Foods. In this role, you will perform general cleanup and stocking, provide excellent customer service, and uphold our core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

• Greet customers promptly and with a friendly attitude.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including floors, backrooms, and coolers.
• Unload and store merchandise, prepare and display foods per company standards.
• Perform required temperature monitoring and product quality checks.
• Sanitize cookware, utensils, and work surfaces according to company and Health Department policies.
• Follow proper signage, product rotation, and inventory practices.
• Operate the cash register as required.
• Demonstrate teamwork in a fast‑paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Handle conflict calmly and resolve issues with honesty and integrity.
• Assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults when needed.
• Perform all other job‑related duties as directed.

• Willing to work weekends and holidays.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read shelf tags, labels, and training materials.
• Strong multi‑tasking and prioritization abilities.
• Team player who works well in a fast‑paced environment.
• Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations.
• Ability to use cleaning solutions safely and handle sharp tools.

• Experience in food preparation and grocery retail.
• Track record of dependability, integrity, and past reliability.
• Knowledge of applicable employment laws and safety regulations.
