Job Description :
Pay Range: $20hr - $24hr
- The Production Technician is responsible for operating, setting up, and troubleshooting advanced manufacturing equipment within a regulated production environment.
- This role supports aseptic manufacturing processes, ensures compliance with SOPs and GMPs, and maintains high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
- The position requires technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a relevant work environment.
- Ability to operate advanced HMI applications.
- Ability to perform machine operation, setup, and basic troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment.
- Understanding of aseptic manufacturing principles.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and move equipment or components as needed.
- Ability to work with hazardous materials.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment.
- Operate, set up, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment to meet process parameters.
- Load equipment with raw materials and format parts as required.
- Perform microbiological monitoring within manufacturing equipment.
- Maintain gown qualification as required by area.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and production areas per SOP.
- Transfer raw materials, supplies, and finished products in and out of manufacturing areas.
- Document work accurately and in a timely manner.
- Understand process flow and follow step-by-step manufacturing requirements.
- Work efficiently while adhering to all SOPs and GMPs.
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and management to promote teamwork.
- Assist departments such as Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Validation, and Microbiology with equipment-related tasks.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, energy, and quality management systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Basic troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
- Ability to multitask and learn multiple manufacturing areas.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic math proficiency.
- Experience in pharmaceutical or food manufacturing industries.
- Experience using aseptic techniques.
- Advanced math skills.
- Hands-on mechanical troubleshooting experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical certification or additional manufacturing training preferred.
