Veterinary Receptionist​/Administrator - FTC

The Beeches Veterinary Centre is a dedicated RCVS Accredited Small Animal Practice based in Melksham, Wiltshire. We are currently looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Part-Time Receptionist to join our supportive team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

• Welcoming and assisting clients at reception
• Answering and managing telephone calls
• Responding to client emails
• Booking appointments efficiently
• Taking payments
• Handling insurance administration
• Supporting Pet Health Club administration

The Beeches Veterinary Centre is a single-site, RCVS Accredited Small Animal Practice with excellent facilities, including:

• Separate dog, cat and isolation wards
• Dedicated theatre with multi-parameter monitoring and heated operating table
• Imaging suite and large preparation room
• Dental X-ray and in-house laboratory
• Veterinary ambulance

As a practice, we take great pride in delivering excellent patient and client care, while maintaining a fun, welcoming and supportive working environment. We actively encourage the development of staff skills, open communication and ongoing education for both our team members and clients.

Our friendly team comprises two experienced Veterinary Surgeons, six Registered Veterinary Nurses, one Student Veterinary Nurse, a dedicated reception team, and a Practice Director.

You will work 30 hours per week, working across 5 days, with shifts between 8 am and 7 pm. You will also be involved in the Saturday morning rota, working 8 am – 2 pm.
