Veterinary Receptionist/Administrator - FTC
The Beeches Veterinary Centre is a dedicated RCVS Accredited Small Animal Practice based in Melksham, Wiltshire. We are currently looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Part-Time Receptionist to join our supportive team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
The Role
- You will be joining a well-established and experienced team of receptionists, veterinary nurses and vets. Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming and assisting clients at reception
- Answering and managing telephone calls
- Responding to client emails
- Booking appointments efficiently
- Taking payments
- Handling insurance administration
The Beeches Veterinary Centre is a single-site, RCVS Accredited Small Animal Practice with excellent facilities, including:
- Separate dog, cat and isolation wards
- Dedicated theatre with multi-parameter monitoring and heated operating table
- Imaging suite and large preparation room
- Dental X-ray and in-house laboratory

Our friendly team comprises two experienced Veterinary Surgeons, six Registered Veterinary Nurses, one Student Veterinary Nurse, a dedicated reception team, and a Practice Director.
You will work 30 hours per week, working across 5 days, with shifts between 8 am and 7 pm. You will also be involved in the Saturday morning rota, working 8 am – 2 pm.
