• Ensure Safety
• Drive a concrete mixer to and from the plant and work sites, hose down the rig to keep it clean, and walk on uneven, slippery surfaces at the work sites and the plant.
• Drive the mixer to work sites and discharge the load in a variety of settings and conditions; unload and attach extension chutes weighing thirty to fifty pounds at the end of the primary chute.
• Perform regular lifting of 25–50 pounds, oil, grease, service and make normal operating adjustments to equipment; lift and move transported materials as required.
• Climb, stoop, bend, squat, stretch, drive, sit, shift gears, pull, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and shovels.
• Work in extreme hot or cold weather; overtime is required; must pass a DOT physical/drug screen and adhere to Company safety policy and rules at all times.
• Meet Preferred Materials Driver Qualification Standards, holding a commercial driver’s license with necessary endorsements in accordance with 49 CFR 383.91 (combination vehicle, Group A or
  
  B). The duties described herein are not exhaustive and may be supplemented.

• Read, write, and communicate effectively.
• 1–2 years of related experience or training is preferred.
• Class A or B driver’s license.
• Current DOT medical card (or ability to obtain one).
• No DUI’s within the last two years.
• Minimal moving violations.
• Able to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to read and interpret written information such as safety rules, sales tickets, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.

Preference:
Forklift certified.
