Sr. .NET Engineer

• Refactor existing  library from a procedural design into a C# object-oriented library
• Update automated test software using the refactored library
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (Physicists, Electrical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers) to create and maintain test requirements for manufactured products
• Create and maintain documentation, including:
  • Test Requirements
  • Test Cases to verify requirements
  • Test Reports
  • Software Version Descriptions
• Coordinate test case execution with test personnel
• Upgrade legacy software to the latest automated test framework for manufactured products
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for newly designed manufactured products

• Good communication skills; fluent in English
• 3–5 years of experience in C# and .NET Framework/Standard/Core development
• Strong background in object-oriented programming, data structures, and refactoring
• Proficient with .NET Framework and/or .NET Standard/Core
• Experience creating and managing libraries (DLLs)
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., TFS/Dev Ops, Git)
• Experience with AWS cloud platform
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or Git Lab CI.

• Familiarity with testing hardware (circuit boards, assembled systems)
• Basic understanding of mathematics (algebra) and statistics
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

The annual salary for this position is between $97,000- $141,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans
