Apartment (HVAC) Maintenance Technician

Essential Staffing Solutions is looking for dependable, hard‑working, and self‑motivated Apartment HVAC Certified Maintenance Technician professionals.

Job Description

As an Apartment HVAC Maintenance Technician
, you will be responsible for repairing, servicing, and maintaining HVAC systems across apartment units, as well as handling other maintenance responsibilities like plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and unit make‑readies.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in occupied and vacant units
• Prepare units for new residents (make‑ready/punch process)
• Complete resident work orders efficiently and professionally
• Repair major appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, and dishwashers
• Perform basic electrical and plumbing repairs
• Maintain community curb appeal and cleanliness
• Assist with renovation or property upgrade projects as needed

Qualifications

• EPA Universal Certification (Required - no exceptions)
• Minimum 1 year of hands‑on experience in apartment maintenance or property management
• Your own tools and HVAC gauges
• Strong skills in HVAC troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, appliances, and unit make‑ready/punch work
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check
