Job Description As a Security Officer - Secret Clearance Logistics in Melbourne, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated logistics and distribution locations, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, engage with staff and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service and communication.

What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
* Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with working environments and conditions that may vary by site.
* Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns within the logistics and distribution environment.
* Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location as required.
* Maintain detailed and accurate logs and incident reports as part of daily duties.
* Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

* Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
* Possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
* Be at least 21 years of age.
* A Guard Card or license is preferred.
* Be able to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
