Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Aero Patrol Specialist in Melbourne, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense. As a Part‑Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform.
You will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic aerospace and defense location. Your presence helps deter security‑related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication.

- Provide customer service and implement security procedures and site policies.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and efficiently.
- Conduct regular and random patrols to deter unauthorized activity.
- Observe and report unusual activity or security concerns.
- Control access, verify credentials, and monitor entry points.
- Maintain detailed logs of patrols, incidents, and daily activities.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members.
- Follow all site‑specific protocols for the aerospace and defense environment.
- Be at least 21 years old.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years old for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Subject to drug screening as permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
