Join us in a role where you will be directly responsible for ensuring the highest standards of manufacturing quality. You’ll play a vital part in preventing defects before they occur, analyzing data to improve performance, and supporting both internal and supply chain quality initiatives.
What You Will Do- Learn about the application, development, modification, and maintenance of quality evaluation, control systems, and protocols for materials processed into partially finished or finished products.
- Collaborate with product design and specification teams to devise testing plans, methods, and equipment that ensure product reliability.
- Identify and manage risk in product development by utilizing and driving UPPAP core elements (e.g., PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow, and Control Plans).
- Participate in the development and implementation of proactive quality initiative strategies.
- Gain knowledge in performing Escape management procedures, conducting root‑cause analysis, and recommending corrective actions for design problems. Ensure all requirements are met for work transfer and process change management, including Resourcing Gate and PPAP acceptance.
- Hands‑on experience in managing manufacturing quality performance, including proactive defect reduction and risk mitigation.
- Skills in data analysis and internal quality control to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Understanding of root‑cause analysis, corrective actions, and quality management systems (QMS) through on‑site audits and process evaluations.
- Insight into the development and enhancement of Quality Engineering standard work, as well as effective communication with customers.
- Exposure to supply chain quality support, ensuring that our standards extend throughout the entire production process.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
- U.S. citizenship is required; only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Interest in manufacturing quality performance, with coursework or experience in quality control, data analysis, or risk management.
- Familiarity with UPPAP core elements, including PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow, and Control Plans.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, particularly in root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.

The salary range for this role is $37,000–$82,000 USD.
