POSITION SUMMARY
The Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) is tasked with overseeing the medical care given to patients while implementing high standards of care consistent with clinic office and medical policies and procedures.
PRIMARYACCOUNTABILITIES
- Assists physician in all procedures as instructed.
- Collects blood and/or samples as directed using sterile techniques, processes with correct paperwork, and directs to correct laboratory for processing.
- Sterilizes all equipment/instruments using proper techniques, and uses all standard equipment at the clinic.
- Administers all medications as ordered, ensures documentation, and calls in medications to area pharmacies when requested by physician.
- Provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and their patient team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
- Maintains all stock in treatment rooms, rotates dated medications, supplies, and documents narcotic drugs and crash cart as required.
- Performs other duties as requested by area supervisors and area personnel.
- Records documentation and assessment of patient vital signs, drug allergies, and description of patient complaints on all charts.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- Education:
Associate’s degree in Nursing (ASN) or Nursing Diploma. - Licensure:
Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Florida. - Certification:
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) Healthcare Provider Completion Card prior to start date and maintained thereafter. - Skill/Knowledge/Ability:
Ability to pass colorblind testing to perform point‑of‑care (POC) tests requiring color change.
- Physically agile; may require walking, standing, running, bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, or crouching frequently.
- May occasionally require lifting or moving objects up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance.
- May require working in tight and confined spaces, including reaching above shoulders or overhead.
- May lift, turn, pull, push, or ambulate people and/or equipment with or without assistance up to 90% of the shift.
- May be exposed to varied temperatures, air quality, lighting, and noise levels.
- May work with biohazards such as blood/body fluids and airborne particles following OSHA and CDC guidelines.
- Communicating with others to exchange information.
- Visual acuity and hand‑eye coordination to perform tasks.
- Workspace may vary from open to confined.
- May require travel to various facilities within and beyond county perimeter; may require use of personal vehicle.
