Responsibilities- Assist in the development and implementation of personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
- Serve as the liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
- Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services on assigned shifts or units.
- Monitor and manage staff, provide on-the-spot feedback, conduct annual evaluations, and perform performance counseling and discipline.
- Provide patient care as needed and build meaningful relationships with patients by addressing physical, mental, and emotional needs for successful recovery.
- Celebrate patient victories along the way.
- Current RN licensure as required by state regulations.
- BLS certification; ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of starting position.
- CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting eligibility requirements.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
- Two years of recent inpatient hospital experience (within the last five years).
- Previous leadership experience (e.g., charge nurse or lead) with responsibilities for interim reporting, issue resolution, setting direction, and accountability for patient and staff results.
