Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is looking for a savvy, strategic Communications professional to shape and deliver compelling communications to support our Aeronautics Systems strategic communications team. Reporting to the manager of content and channel strategy, this role is responsible for helping to strategically align and shape communications messaging for business priorities.

This position may be based in El Segundo, CA, Melbourne, FL, or Falls Church, VA.

You’ll make a difference by:

• Overseeing and supporting the creation of content for business focus areas and priorities, partnering with functional colleagues and leadership to align to business objectives and messaging

• Leading, preparing and developing messaging to position Northrop Grumman priorities

• Partnering with communications colleagues to develop a holistic and integrated communication strategy to achieve business and communication goals

• Preparing and sharing metrics on communications efforts and leveraging those results to evolve strategies and approaches to achieve business objectives

Basic qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 5 years of communications, public relations, marketing or journalism experience or master’s degree and minimum of 3 years of communications, public relations, marketing or journalism experience.

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience developing and deploying strategic communications campaigns and measuring business impact

Sr. Principal Public Relations Representative

Basic qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 8 years of communications, public relations, marketing or journalism experience or master’s degree and minimum of 6 years of communications, public relations, marketing or journalism experience.

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience developing and deploying strategic communications campaigns and measuring business impact

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience working in a large, matrixed and/or geographically dispersed organization

• Experience developing productive relationships with executives

• Experience in technology, aerospace, defense or other science-related business or government fields
