Job Description & How to Apply Below
* Participate in cross-functional team efforts to improve test yields, production throughput, test capacity, and overall product Quality.
* Identify component test failure trends and perform root cause analysis. Implement corrective actions to resolve. Prepare test failure analysis reports as required for production.
* Study performance and reliability of existing test equipment and establish programs and solutions for decreasing test equipment downtime.
* Analyze test approach, plans, and processes for cost reduction, test efficiency, test yields, and manufacturing test capacity opportunities.
* Provide capacity planning and utilization analysis for accurate staffing and identify new and optimized approaches that will minimize production staffing needs and capital requirements.
* Select and order capital test equipment using sound cost/payback analysis. Generate and track Appropriation Requests.
* Improve existing test fixtures and equipment needed to improve test performance.
* Participates in Production Readiness Reviews to determine suitability of new designs for production.
* Support efforts to conduct R&R efforts on new test solutions to verify consistent product and equipment performance. Drive manufacturing process improvements across multiple assembly process steps
* Analyze and understand factory needs and requirements.
* Conduct Process Flow analysis and make improvements.
* Develop tools that enable manufacturing or increase production rates.
* Implement Procedure and process improvements based on safety, quality, and productivity.
* Improving production facilities and equipment layouts
* Enhance your technical skills for the entire product assembly and test process, board level through top-level assemblies.
* Improve & Maintain SOP and Test documentation for current configuration and oversee accurate change management procedures for all MFG documents.
* Gain practical experience with Lean Manufacturing
* Enhance your skill with Learn MFG Flow optimization, Line balancing and OEE.
