Manufacturing / Engineering Technician

The Manufacturing / Engineering Technician supports day-to-day manufacturing, equipment operation, testing, and documentation activities in a regulated medical-device environment. This role works closely with Process Engineering and Quality to execute validated processes, maintain equipment readiness, and support product builds, testing, and troubleshooting.
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working with procedures, test equipment, and controlled documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Manufacturing & Assembly Support
- Perform hands‑on assembly, setup, and operation of manufacturing equipment and fixtures.
- Execute production and development builds in accordance with approved work instructions and travelers.
- Handle components and products in controlled environments (including clean rooms where applicable).
- Equipment & Test Support
- Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing, inspection, and test equipment.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment, fixtures, and test setups.
- Assist with equipment installation, relocation, and qualification activities (IQ/OQ support).
- Documentation & Compliance
- Accurately complete production records, batch records, and device history records (DHRs).
- Follow SOPs, work instructions, and quality system requirements (ISO 13485 / FDA).
- Identify and report deviations, nonconformances, and process issues.
- Support process validations by executing test steps, data collection, and equipment setup.
- Assist engineers with data logging, measurements, and verification testing.
- Support software‑assisted equipment or test systems under engineer guidance.
- Maintenance & Calibration Support
- Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Assist with calibration checks and equipment readiness activities.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
