The Role

Are you an experienced leader with a passion for delivering innovative solutions and driving successful projects? We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of key initiatives. In this role, you’ll oversee projects from inception to completion, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to deliver exceptional results that align with Orion
180’s strategic goals.

What You’ll Do
  • Plan & Execute:
    Lead the planning, organization, and implementation of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Monitor progress and milestones, keeping stakeholders informed throughout the process.
  • Coordinate Stakeholders:
    Act as a liaison between project sponsors, members, cross‑functional teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables, requirements, and schedules are met.
  • Manage Risk:
    Conduct risk analysis and develop mitigation plans to address potential challenges, ensuring project success.
  • Document & Strategize:
    Prepare business cases, high‑level use cases, technical requirements, and ROI documents. Maintain change control processes and detailed project summaries.
  • Collaborate Across Teams:
    Work closely with engineering, operations, marketing, and sales teams to align project outcomes with business objectives.
  • Schedule & Track Progress:
    Develop and maintain integrated master schedules to meet company objectives. Track plans and schedules, analyze for critical paths, and develop work‑around plans when changes are needed.
  • Drive Efficiency:
    Monitor project progress, control deliverables, and manage changes to ensure smooth execution and alignment with goals.
  • Prepare Reports & Meetings:
    Create detailed reports, meeting agendas, and notes to keep all stakeholders informed and aligned.
What We’re Looking For
  • Education:

    BA/BS degree strongly preferred.
  • Certification: PMP certification strongly preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years in Project Management, preferably in a tech‑driven or insurance‑related industry.
    • Experience delivering in‑house software platforms.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Proficient in Project Management tools such as Microsoft Project and Smart Sheet; familiarity with Wrike is a plus.
    • Strong command of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.
