Responsibilities- Own projects from conception to completion, serving as the main client contact and coordinating all site and shop activities.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed project schedules for drawings, fabrication, and delivery.
- Review and interpret submittals, shop drawings, and blueprints to ensure precision and compliance.
- Identify, prepare, and negotiate change orders, protecting project margins.
- Proactively manage job site challenges and schedule conflicts to minimize cost impacts and back charges.
- Collaborate daily with the shop floor, shipping departments, and field crews to ensure seamless workflow.
- Champion job site safety, promote team communication, and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- Must‑Have: 3+ years of project management experience within the structural steel construction industry.
- Skilled in reading blueprints, managing budgets, and proficient in Microsoft Office.
- A strong, assertive communicator with proven conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- A huge plus: Experience with Tekla EPM or similar project management software.
